Expectations EP Blueprint by Alan Ewing

 EXPECTATIONS EP BLUEPRINT

 by Alan Ewing

Expectations

Here we go again, expecting all from one another
You can't change someone
Else they'll go undercover

Some might say it's politics that divides the line
Not if you accept another's
View it's fine

Expectations ...

So what do I expect from you in all truth be known
I just want you to be yourself
To strike the right tone

All that matters is the two becoming one together
That above all else
To be divided never

Expectations ...

Middle -Eight
Oh what a world that is so divided
Of this there can be no denying
I just love us to be one and all
Rather than to see us in fall

So off into debate , as we find our way
Somehow meet in centre
As each other have a say

All I know is how I accept you each and every day
This much I do know
We can have our say

Aberration

Chorus
Aberration within my mind
All of thisa strange kind
Infatuation like sands of time
Working out what is and isn't mine

Striving for goals in life that's true
Aiming each day to get on through
Knowing that time passes on by
Alway the question as to how and why

Repeat Chorus

Making gold out of everyday's toil
Never allowing the formula to spoil
The work of the brain is never done
For it is ever serious never much fun

Repeat Chorus

middle eight
Is this the answer to your dreams
Wher you go for answers
To all that life means
Cede all the past when playing a part
Meet your maker when truly in heart

And so the toil goes on within this life
Harshly it seems when you meet strife
Stoic is the way paved ahead
Take the path where you are led

FUSION

Bring it all together
Make it last forever

Entity that is all
Let us hear your call

Catastrophe in the world
Through the new
can be heard

The end of a cycle complete
Birth of the new
Upon the streets

We need no compass to guide
As we head for
The centre inside

Our journey comes to an end
As we find
Our Greatest Friend

NOw we exist in Light
Now we let go
Of the fight

 Devotional

Here I sit within a micro-state
Waiting for the macro-state to call
Searching in celibacy as I await
For the wife that you bring to me

Long over those heady days of mine
Maybe just a little communion wine
Seen Judas and doubting Thomas too
I searched for something to be true

I found you in younger teenage years
In that you drove away my fears
Always my friend whom I rely on
All of my worries are now gone

Sometimes I play Caesar's little game
Though it always ends the same
I see right through that vixen fox
Then there is only myself to blame

So how and why is this my God?
When I wander through life's mazes
I really just don't know a lot
As I set out upon my crazes
