T.V. EP Blueprint by Alan Ewing

T.V. EP Blueprint

Television
a song lyric by Alan Ewing

Always with me from an early age
Guess you'll go with me
Down to my grave

Many tears that you brought from me
Memories came alive
On my old Tv

Chorus
Television gave it all to me
Just a licence fee
Then it is totally free
Oh television

Taught me how to rock n' roll
From an early age
Gave complete soul

All those adverts for bottles of pop
Certainly got me going
And made me rock

Repeat Chorus

Middle Eight
Take your bow
Such a wow
In experience
At times mysterious
Sure caught my eye
Love how you try
 Teach me everything
Take us to the brink

Repeat Chorus

Move

a song lyric by Alan Ewing

Got to get myself out of the way

I can’t take this for another day

Feel trapped inside with no way out

No one hears as I give a shout

How much longer with the locks in here?

Give or take perhaps many a year

A state of frustration at permanent lockdown

Lost and alone in this abandoned town

Chorus

Move – It’s myself in the way

Choose – To act and put it right today

Change – To let the Light shine in

Resolve – To allow it all to begin

Middle Eight

Release me, release me from this desolate pit

Let’s leave now across the golden bridge

Longing for the Grace that frees all

As with all of humanity after the terrible Fall

Repeat Chorus

So on it goes with my barrier being the door

Fighting like crazy to smash down the walls

Waiting in prison for the chains to fall off

Hear the Trumpet sound from the loft

Now the time to fight has now arrived

A case of all in to continually survive

Take the bull by the horns and more

The challenge is clearly laid before

Repeat Chorus

Got To Find Some Way

a lyric by Alan Ewing

Got to find some way

To get close to you

Got to find some way

To get to know you

Got to find some way

To live near you

Got to find some way

To show love is true

Got to find some way

To love and adore you

Got to find some way

To take that door through

Got to find some way

To turn around the tide

Got to find some way

No more run and hide

Got to find some way

To bring us together

Got to find some way

This is forever

MULBERRY CLOSE

a lyric by Alan Ewing

I’d love to live on Mulberry Close

With its parks and drives

To live there would be the most

Because it is heavenly inclined

Life ticks by on Mulberry Close

As it finds its way

Lovely views out to the coast

It’s your canvas for the day

Mulberry Close contains the seeds

Of all that is and was

Never again will you ever need

No reason for it’s just because

Mulberry Close can give eternal life

There are no stocks or cash

So now you know you live but twice

On Mulberry Close forever it lasts

So Mulberry Close is the place to be

It’s where you make a new start

Of Mulberry Close for you to see

You’ll find it in your heart

Expectations
by Alan Ewing

Here we go again, expecting all from one another
You can't change someone
Else they'll go undercover

Some might say it's politics that divides the line
Not if you accept another's
View it's fine

Expectations ...

So what do I expect from you in all truth be known
I just want you to be yourself
To strike the right tone

All that matters is the two becoming one together
That above all else
To be divided never

Expectations ...

Middle -Eight
Oh what a world that is so divided
Of this there can be no denying
I just love us to be one and all
Rather than to see us in fall

So off into debate , as we find our way
Somehow meet in centre
As each other have a say

All I know is how I accept you each and every day
This much I do know
We can have our say

 Devotional
a song lyric by Alan Ewing

Here I sit within a micro-state
Waiting for the macro-state to call
Searching in celibacy as I await
For the wife that you bring to me

Long over those heady days of mine
Maybe just a little communion wine
Seen Judas and doubting Thomas too
I searched for something to be true

I found you in younger teenage years
In that you drove away my fears
Always my friend whom I rely on
All of my worries are now gone

Sometimes I play Caesar's little game
Though it always ends the same
I see right through that vixen fox
Then there is only myself to blame

So how and why is this my God?
When I wander through life's mazes
I really just don't know a lot
As I set out upon my crazes
